Our quality management ensures a uniform
performance across Europe in many areas such as traceability,
efficiency of corrective and preventative actions, quality of
internal audits and training.
The quality of our corrugated board also takes into account
the requirements of European legislation about packaging waste
reduction at the source : the use of lightweight papers together
with an optimised design enable escor to consume
less paper without
decreasing the quality of the packaging.
Corrugated packaging is definitively the
most environmentally-friendly material as it is 100% recyclable. It is manufactured in a closed-loop
recycling system: raw materials are from recycled paper or renewable
resources, and the finished product is used as raw material again.
Furthermore, it benefits from the highest recycling level of
all packaging materials with a 70% rate.
In the light of these advantages, it is important to point out
that retailers prefer mono-material packaging such as corrugated
board as it is easier to dispose of.
